Is this cheaper than Anthropic's native prompt caching?
Yes. Anthropic's cache requires you to set it up per-prompt and still bills per 1M tokens (at discount). We handle caching automatically AND take a fraction of the per-token cost.
Do I need to change my code?
One line. Change baseURL in your Anthropic SDK call to https://aiusage.ai. That's it. Works with Claude Code, Python, Node, curl — any Anthropic-compatible client.
What if Anthropic drops their prices?
Our proxy margin stays constant. If Anthropic halves their rates, your aiusage bill halves too. You're always ~20× cheaper than the direct API.
Do credits expire?
Never. Buy $10, use it over 6 months. Buy $50, use it over a year. Credits are yours.
Is my Claude API key safe?
AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest, per-user isolated, never logged. You can rotate or delete it anytime from /dashboard.
